Ecosystem Literacy Initiative Summer Institute for Teachers

August 23-27, 2010, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Registration:

Since space is limited, we will accept teachers on a first come, first served basis. Register before April 1st, 2010 for the early bird discount of $40. After April 1st, the cost of the Institute(s) will increase to $50 per person, per institute. This fee includes tuition, snacks, coffee, and materials. If this fee presents a problem for you, please contact us for scholarship applications.

Lunches are to be provided by participants; if this is a problem please let us know. We do not have a cafeteria on site, but there are options locally if you are interested in purchasing your lunch. Please indicate below whether you are interested in finding out more about on site accommodations. We will contact you by April 15th (early bird) or June 15th (regular registration) to let you know about your participation in the Institute.

I understand that by submitting this registration I commit to attending the 2010 Summer Institute at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. This entails committing to trying out activities or lessons with my students during the 2010-11 school year, and to communicating with Cary Institute educators about these initiatives. I also attest that I have discussed this program with my principal and have received support for participating in this professional development program from him/her.
