On the Trails of IES

Trail Report for September 01, 2005

Notes and changes since last report:

80°F, partly cloudy, and breezy with low humidity at 12:00 PM.
I was joined on the trails today by departing ecology camp counselor, Michelle.
As a result, some fine caterpillars and a magnificent spider were seen.
Above is a silver-spotted skipper caterpillar appearing to look longingly at groundnut blossoms.
Although the recently mowed fields were low on butteflies, the Gifford Garden was swarming!
